CIDA IS EMPOWERMENT
CIDA City Campus (www.cida.co.za) is a non-profit, private higher education institution founded in Johannesburg in 1999 to contribute to the social and economic development of South Africa by providing access to quality higher education and skills development for financially disadvantaged students. After four years of intense study, incorporating work experience and social responsibility, graduates obtain a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) that is fully recognised and provisionally registered by the Department of Education and accredited by the South African Qualifications Authority, the Council of Higher Education and the South African Institute of Management.
By producing skilled graduates from financially disadvantaged communities, CIDA provides employers with competent and professional individuals that contribute to fulfilling demographic targets legislated by the Employment Equity Act of South Africa and proposed by the black economic empowerment bill. To optimise the advancement of its graduates, CIDA is extending its framework through the CIDA Empowerment Fund.
